Multicultural Celebration of Achievement 2021

What Is Celebration Of Achievement?

MCAE Leaders & Graduates Minette and Janette

MCAE’s annual Celebration of Achievement is a celebration that brings together undergraduate, graduate, and professional students from traditionally underrepresented populations to recognize their accomplishments and achievements by gifting them a hand-woven stole to wear at their formal college graduation ceremony.

This year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will be foregoing the traditional in-person ceremony and will instead be organizing a day for graduates to pick up their stoles to have in time for their college commencements. In order to facilitate this, graduates will complete an RSVP form once it becomes available to reserve a stole. Graduates who RSVP will receive information regarding time, date, and location of the stole pickup and relevant details and instructions.

MCAE stoles remain free, however they are limited in quantity.
