What to Expect at MCAE Kick Off
- First and foremost, you should expect to have lots of fun connecting with other incoming students in the program!
- Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in a mix of large group and small group activities that highlight this year’s theme: Are You Ready? Our hope with this year’s Kick Off is that participants will be able to discuss their identity and background in these small group settings and learn how to navigate being a multicultural/first gen/native and indigenous student at a predominantly white institution (PWI).
- Kick Off participants will also engage in sessions designed to help prepare them for that first semester of college
- Over the course of Kick Off, you will have the space to create lasting friendships and memories that will help make the University of Minnesota feel more like home.
How Do I Join Kick Off?
The registration form for MCAE Kick Off will open in June 2023.
